I'm ordering an item that costs approx. €2k.
The item I'm ordering is pre-order only and there will be a waiting time involved.
I am happy to pay and I am happy to wait but I'm just wondering which payment method should I use for better consumer protection in this case.
PayPal has 180 days to open a dispute from the date of payment, which would take me well up to March of next year, whereas Stripe seems to have 120 days limit.
PayPal has a surcharge of €30.00, which Stripe does not, but I'm willing to pay it for better protection.
What do people think/advise?
