Visa and Mastercard in Beijing

Has anybody used a Visa credit card to take out money from an ATM in Beijing ?
What about Mastercard?

Will it work ?

I think it will work, but I want confirmation from someone who has used their Visa or Mastercard to withdraw cash from an ATM in Beijing.

I dont have a debit card, just 2 chip and pin credit cards (both Visa and Mastercard)

No problems using Irish visa/mastercard in Bank of China ATMs. Does not always work in some of the smaller banks.
