Videos to cds

if you want to play them in CD player, you should convert the videos to mp3 first. i think this may can help you.

Any other ways of transferring VHS tapes to DVDs at home. I have a DVD recorder, although I confess I have not used for that purpose.

I saw machines advertised which played VHS and DVDs. Would these do the job. Also heard something like 'Video Catcher' ??? or could I play video on TV and record onto DVD recorder. Will quality suffer.
