Hoping for some help in navigating and comparing the multiple hospital focused plans out there. Currently with VHI Parents & Kids Plan - myself and 23 year old daughter. No preexisting conditions and both in very good health. Current renewal price is coming in at €3,032.36 for the year which seems incredibly steep.
Hospital cover and excess are what's mostly important to me. Not particularly bothered with day to day expenses as we generally have little to none of those. Have used the hospital cover quite often on routine procedures so that's definitely the priority.
Would also prefer to not have any waiting/2 year cover wait by moving companies/plans - though perhaps I'm overly worried on that front?
Would greatly appreciate any advice.
