Ireland were playing England, and after the half-time whistle blew, Ireland found themselves ahead 50-0, Brian O’Driscoll getting eight tries. The rest of the team decided to head for the pub instead of playing the second half, leaving Brian to go out on his own.

"No worries," Brian told them, "I'll join you later and tell you what happened." After the game Brian headed for the pub where he told his teammates the final score: 95-3.

"What!!!!" said a furious Eddie O’Sullivan, "How did you let them get three points??!" Brian replied apologetically, "I was sent off with 20 minutes to go."

Because of the frenzy over tickets, Paddy found himself without a ticket for the game. Not wishing to miss out on the atmosphere he decides to stand on Lansdowne Road below the South Terrace and rely on spectators inside the ground for updates.

After 15 minutes there's an almighty roar. Frantic with excitement, Paddy calls up to the back of the terrace "What happened ?".

An English supporter pops his head over the wall and says "There has been a huge brawl and the referee has sent off all of the Irish team, except for Brian O'Driscoll !".

2 minutes later there is another almighty roar. As it subsides, Paddy calls up to the back of terrace "What happened - has Brian scored ?".

I have noticed that if you click on link a number is in the t/l.h.s. If you click out and click the link again the number has increased by five . Any significance ?
 
maybe just to finish the weekend off......

Edward was at school this morning and the teacher asked all the children
what there fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came out,
Fireman, Policeman, Salesman, Chippy, etc, but Edward was being
uncharacteristically quiet and so the teacher asked him about his
father. "My father's an exotic dancer in a gay club and takes off all
his clothes in front of other men. Sometimes if the offer is really
good, he'll go out with a man, rent a cheap hotel room and let them
sleep with him." The teacher quickly set the other children some work
and took little Edward aside to ask him if that was really true....

"No" said Edward "He plays Rugby for England but I was just too
embarrassed to say!"
