We are buying a house with gas heating, boiler and rads probably all about 15 years old. Some of the radiators are in bad nick and I am thinking of replacing the boiler / and or some rads. I think that some of the radiators are too small for the rooms they're in (kitchen, hallway) and also very awkwardly placed in the sitting room (exactly where we want the couch in a long narrow room). Would vertical radiators sound like a good solution here? Any pros and cons to them? I've seen radiator towel rails in bathrooms / kitchens and think they look great and seem practical.
