Hi all,
I know there have been a number of posts regarding vented vs. condenser but I have not seen any info on my question so here it goes...
If using a vented drier, what kind of gap is required between the back of the drier and the wall to allow room for the outlet pipe? As I am going to be putting the drier under a kitchen worktop of standard depth, I was wondering if the vented drier will be sticking out from under the worktop becasue of this gap?
Thanks

There shouldn't be a need for any significant gap. They're designed to fit under standard counter tops.

There is usually an option to route the pipe directly out the back or to the right or left hand side of the unit.

They are designed to fit under a standard worktop however I don't believe there would be space behind to change the direction of the 4" vent pipe or run it along the back, so the outlet will need to line up with the hole in the back of the dryer.
