Veluxes

Hello, I wonder can anyone help! I have put in several dormer veluxes in a new build but the dividing bar in the middle of both windows is at my eye level and blocking my view due to the shape/size of the roof. I am considering taking them out and getting a specific size window made up by velux so that the connecting bar will be placed in such a position that a. it is in line with the eave and b. that it then will be at a correct eye level. I wonder have any of you have had any experience of getting a bespoke dormer velux or any type of velux made up especially by velux and if so, how did ye go about it and were ye happy with the result? Also, has anyone tried the other velux company...I think they are called Falkro or something like that... just wondering should I try them also and see. THANK YOU!

To my Knowledge velux just do their standard range and do not have a bespoke service.
Velux do vast range of windows. If I am visualizing this correctly the problem is with the shape of the roof and any window you got would obscure your view, because the change of direction( of the window )would be in the same place . Therefore you would have to lose headroom inside or alter the roof. You should have a look at the Cabria velux which might work in your situation.

Thank you very much. I will look up Cabria on google and see what I can find. Thakns again very much.
