I know that a concrete answer can only be found through revenue directly but I'm wondering if anyone can shed some light on vat rates.
As far as I can make out the VAT rate on PC hire in an internet cafe is 21% and room / venue hire is 13.5% - what happens if someone hires out your entire cafe to use the PC's for a class etc ? Should you charge them the lower or higher rate of tax ?
