VAT on Premises - question

Hi,

just have a short question. I am paying 15000 p.a. plus VAT for a small shop.
Meaning I pay 1512.50 a month ( 1250 + 262.50 VAT ) based on 21% VAT.
Now the VAT changed to 21.5%
Will I have to pay more rent now?
Probably a stupid question but I am just not sure.

Yes. You will now pay 1518.75 per month. If you are registered for VAT you will be able to reclaim the VAT.

oops - have to pay more so next month - as I haven't done in Dec and Jan. Thanks a lot for that
