I have just registered for VAT,i would really appreciate any recommendations for a tax expert/accountant for me to arrange to have a consultation with.
I would like to do this as i am a soletrader and want to be clear on all implications and accounting procedures

You do not need a tax expert for routine vat matters. You should get an accountant to advise you on your bookkeeping and setting up in business generally. They will be familiar with all the tax registration requirements.

Hi Johnjoda,

I think Tax Assist is a good organisation with franchise holders throughout Ireland. I know the one here in Ballincollig and would have no hesitation recommending them.
