Van Lease Problems.

I used to be selfemployed and have a renault van on lease from GE money.
As I now have no use for my van i've been trying to sell it for the past few months but with no success. I've stopped my monthly payments and of course GE are going to repossess. I have been trying to reorganise my payments but GE dont want to here about it.

Any sugestions anyone.
 
Credit union loan? They don't do bureau searches so you may be able to get a loan from them to clear the debt...

This will give you the option of increasing the term again making repayments a little lighter.

Then, put the van on carzone.ie - it's the website with the most amount of hits - but make sure you put photos on it.

A lot of CU are registered with the Irish Credit Bureau and so may do a credit check. Obviously since you stopped paying for the van this will have an adverse effect on your credit rating and so may be refused a loan.
How many repayments have you made and what is the term of the lease?
