i'm currently geting a mortgage.

boi were taking their time aproving the mortgage, so i went to the ebs.

sat down with ebs, signed the aplication forms, and they've sent of a valuer. 175euro.

now boi have aproved the mortgage, i'm thinking of going with them>

do i need to get another valuation or can use the one ebs did?

You can certainly try to use the same valuation. For your own information, when you are getting a mortgage you can often bargain not to pay the valuation fee or indemnity insurance fees.

i think i'm gonna ask ebs to match boi's tracker.

ebs SVR is 3.3%
boi's tracker is 3.1%

I had to pay a valuation fee in order to get a mortgage with AIB though a broker. I received an AIB loan offer which I did not sign and take up on. Subsequently I got a better deal with another institution and broker where I did not have to pay a valuation fee

Can I get the original fee refunded and how do I go about it as this fee just came off my credit card ?

I think you could do better than that if your mortgage is sufficiently large. Have a look at this thread:
