Valuation Survey

Who arranges the valuation survey? the bank(AIB) or myself?
If it is myself, then how does one assess if a surveyor is qualified to perform the survey? Do they have to be an AIB qualified surveyor or is there a professional title that they must have in order for AIB to accept their valuation?
Finally, any reccommendations for someone to do a valuation survey in the Galway city region?

I believe each branch has a list of approved valuers. You can then contact whoever you prefer on that list.

in the current lending climate, you should ask (tell) the bank that the survey is no problem, at their expense. If they want it, then they should pay.
