Wondering if anyone has any advice.
I have the option of taking a voluntary redundancy package in my company. I have worked there for almost 10 years.
11 months ago I changed voluntarily and at my instigation from a 5-day week to a 4 day week.
I heard somewhere that when applying for redundancy, if you are less than 12 months in a part-time position, you can calculate on the basis of your full-time 5-day week salary for the purposes of your redundancy payment. Is this correct, or should I assume that my voluntary redundancy payments will be based on my salary working a 4-day week?
Also, a separate question, if I am approved for voluntary redundancy, do I have to wait a certain period before applying for and receiving Jobseekers Benefit?
