Hi Guys

Designing my house at the moment. I have the Utility room down as 2.53M * 1.7M is this far too small. I hope to place a large freezer in to it. I will have to eat in to my kitchen but I don't want to by too much.

Thanks

That does seem a little small alright. I'm almost finished building and my utility is 3.1m * 2.9m and it is my no means too big - I'll be using the utility room as a back entrance to the house, have an oil boiler, washing machine and dryer. There's enough space - but definitely not too much - so if you intend putting in a big fridge then I would advise to make it a little bigger. Have you thought about american fridges??

Thanks Paddy. I will Washing machine and Frezzer not fridge in it. No boiler.

No boiler is handy as they can take up alot of space with pipes etc - But still have a think about it because it's one of the rooms that people have regrets about afterwards especially if you don't have a garage. I know everybody has to be economical in terms of house sizes but making your house 2-3 feet wider isn't going to have a major effect on cost.
