Using Samsung recovery cd in Dell PC ??

I have a Dell laptop and have an error message when trying to run windows updates. I cannot update the laptop at present. I have researched it via Windows support and I need to run a repair install of Vista home premium from the CD. I don't have the origional Dell cd but do have a Samsung cd with the same version of Vista - 32 bit but the cd says its for use in Samsungs only.

Is it possible to use the Samsung CD or do I dave to get a Dell CD ?

It won't work ... you need the Dell CD.

Try it. Alternatively, get rid of appalling Vista and install ubuntu instead.
