Why can’t I connect to data while I am roaming?
If you cannot connect to data while roaming:
- Check data settings to ensure your mobile data roaming is enabled.
- If you are roaming outside of the EU, make sure you have accepted all relevant T&C’s when prompted.
When you're out and about and mobile data isn't working does it make any difference if you switch off WiFi and then try to access that roamingalerts link? Seems confusing but that seems to be what GoMo suggest in that X/Twitter post...so I went back into a wifi area and clicked on that and it was ok.
But today, I was completely stuck as I was not in a wifi area. Am I doing something wrong?
You can contact them via chat and they will tell you. Gomo are actually helpful like that.Anyway I am accessing data so I hope it's not via the ordinary expensive Gomo
@Louis is already using one but still having problems.I’d also recommend Gomoworld e-sim.
And some have no problems, other than turn off gomo roaming, i didn’t have to do anything else.@Louis is already using one but still having problems.
Unfortunately, roaming problems and virtual networks such as GoMo, 48 etc. seem to go hand in hand and it seems a bit hit and miss. Some people have awful problems while it works perfectly without any messing for others.
Hope you realise the roaming charge in US could be 5$ per 1Mb, unless you have US roaming in your plan. Hence the hints from Go Mo.I have an ordinary gomo account and am currently in the US
I only need data roaming for calling an Uber or google maps but it's odd
When I tried to use it yesterday to call an Uber it wasn't working. Then I found a text from gomo

They're using the eSIM for roaming data for that reason.Hope you realise the roaming charge in US could be 5$ per 1Mb, unless you have US roaming in your plan. Hence the hints from Go Mo.
