Can you let me know if its possible to use a hair shaver in the US/Canada which we'll be bringing over from Ireland? Will it blow if we use it over there?
I brought my hairdryer to the US, but the power outtage was awful, not worth bringing at all. You wouldnt dry a section of hair, nevermind the full head, so from me, electrical appliances don't have the necessary wattage output to work over there.
As they work on half the voltage over there (110V) it definately wont blow anything. There should be a small switch on the appliance , probably marked 220V/110V , if so switch it to 110V and it will work fine.
