I expect to be hosting a one-day conference for approx 200 attendees later this year. I'm thinking about using an event management company, mainly because we don't have any facility for taking credit card payments.

It would be great to get somebody to look after things like registration, photocopying materials, video-recording of conference sessions, etc.
Has anyone any idea for ballpark costs for this service? Do they charge a per-head commission, or a flat fee? Has anyone any particular experiences of these providers or others in this industry?
