usb stick video storage

looking to store some video files on usb stick
seen 2 different models 1 4gb other 8 gb
what kind of video storage would the above handle (time wise)
 
It would depend on the Video type,quality & length.
An average film AVI file would be 700 MB
 
Depends on the quality you are recording. Whats this for a DVR on a TV or a security cam?
 
To be honest 8gb USB storage would be on the low side anyway. I recently picked up a SanDisk 16gb USB in PCWorld for E25.00...I know if you look online you'll get more for cheaper than that too.

You don't want to be stuck for space if it comes down to it.
 
I have a 16GB Phillips USB and it holds roughly 12 - 14 films at a time (1hr30 mins approx) Worth buying larger than 8GB for convenience or you could always invest in an external hardrive and free up the USB that way as you watch them and may want to keep some.
