USB KVM Switch box - driving me mad

Just plugged in the above switch box. According to the manual (i use that term loosely) the hot key switch is scroll scroll 1 or scroll scroll 2 etc. Just like most other switch boxes. But not here. Control V. Everytime i try to paste something, the darn machine is switching on me. There is a button on the box that i can use to switch but obviously a hot key is faster. But how can i stop it changing everytime i paste something?!?!? And the scroll scroll option doesnt work anyways.

I gave up on it - got a different one and it works perfectly.
