Hi,

I bought an Epson DX8450 recently and there is no cable supplied to link the printer to the PC. It gave a contents list in the instructions and it is not mentioned on it.

It seems crazy that Epson don't supply you with everyhing you need to get started.

Is this the same with other manufacturers?

Thanks

Yep, I bought a canon pixma and it doesn't come with a cable either. The Argos catalogue pointed this out and the girl at the check-out tried to sell me a cable too.

I bought a HP C6180 recently and it doesn't come with one either. It also has fixed Ethernet and WiFi which works without any problems.

Xerox are the only company that still supply cables and give the best service as far as I am aware

Many USB device manufacturers don't supply a USB cable with their devices. It usually says what's included on the box.

I got a Brother printer in office1. There was no cable included but the very helpful girl(unusual these days) threw one in for free.
