Anyone have an opinion on whether or not it’s a good time to purchase of funds that have the base currency in USD.
With the weak USD vs. Euro it seems like a good bet, assuming that the Dollar will eventually gather strength which could be cashed in sometime in the future along with any gains in the fund itself.
In particular I was looking at the Rabo Global Value Fund: http://www.rabodirect.ie/investments/mutual_funds/mliif_glob_fundamental.aspx
Does anyone know what it means when Rabo state the "the version we purchase is in Euro" - does this galvanise against some of the currency fluctuation?
