US contributions for pension

I have 30 paid contributions from student days in the US. Can these be combined and added to my Irish cons under bilateral agreement with the US? They make a big difference as they would put me into a higher band for payment. There are no contributions from any other country.

It looks very similar to the EU cross-country procedures - each country will assess your benefits
1) just using the contributions paid in that country to calculate pension benefit to be paid
2) using the combined contributions and calculating the pension benefit in proportion to the contribution made in the country

Just read the following from the Citizens Info website for countries with bilateral agreements..."where there are less than 52 contributions paid in the other country and a pension is not awarded by that country, the Irish pension is awarded on the sum of the two insurance records without the application of the pro-rata rule."

Seems to imply they can be combined and added in.
