Urban Regeneration CASH-BACK from Gov.

I just came across something in another (non financial) forum.

The poster refered to a Urban Regeneration scheme where FTB's and people who have bought in the last 5 years may be intitled to somesort of cash back from their local tax office for relocating to a certain area, bringing business/services/community with them.

Has anyone heard of this, who qualifies and how do you go about making your claim?

You can get tax relief for buying in places like the regenerated Ballymun - Santry X. If there's any tax relief available you would know about it upfront, before you purchase, as these developments are marketed that way. It wouldn't be a case of you buying a property and then being told a few years down the line that you are entitled to a tax refund.
