Hi, have finally decided to get the broadband moved to UPC, as part of a bundle.
Modem and phone arrived in quick time, however, think I now have a problem!
UPC incoming connection box is in sitting room, but pc isnt!
Thinking of buying a laptop (pc is old/doesnt have wireless/sluggish etc), but was wondering if I could use a wireless router for it?
Have gotten 3 stories from UPC at this stage (we sell them, we dont etc).
So need help!
- what am I looking for in the PC shops, is it a "cable router"?
- if I can get it, do I replace the UPC router with it, or do I need to keep the router they sent to me, and connect it to the wireless one?
