Unpaid holidays

My company is going thirough a very bad patch financially. The board of directors have just told us that there will be no money to pay January salaries, so we should consider ourselves on unpaid holidays for January.

Is there any assistance/relief I can claim for January ?

If the company puts you on shorttime, and you are not working for the company during January you should be able to claim Job seekers ~200euro a week.
