Unpaid debt against prof firm €2k Can I go to Small claims court?

I have a business providing a service to professional firms. I have an unpaid debt against prof firm, under €2,000. It is for services completed, some since April and some since July. Principal of the business will not pay despite repeated reminders. Can I use small claims court, if necessary?

Consumer claims cannot be made in the Small Claims Court for debts, personal injuries or breach of leasing or hire-purchase agreements.
Businesses can make claims against other businesses in relation to contracts for goods or services purchased. It does not apply to claims in relation to:

• Agreements to which the Consumer Credit Act 1995 applies
• Breaches of leasing agreements
• Debt or liquidated damages

The procedure is designed to deal with claims up to €2,000.
