I am 26 and have been working in public sector for past 3 years. I was covering a career break and contract expires on 1st September. I am getting married on August 21st so will be on holidays from work until my contract expires! I will be on my honeymoon until 7th September. What exactly am I entitled too in terms of dole? I have a mortgage with my fiancee. Thankfully up until now I have never needed the dole so I really don't have a clue what I will be getting. I will obviously look for work and am willing to take any job but I reckon it will be mid-sept before I get to start seriously looking for jobs.
