Unemployed construction worker, claiming SW & Rent allce, now fixing computers.

I was made unemployed with the construction slowdown recently.

I claimed social welfare and rent allowance.

I started fixing computers for friends and family and people they knew.

Then last month i advertised my services in local paper and started fixing for customers.

Last month the turnover was €2500 although probably only €500 or so was profit.

What do i need to declare ?

Will I lose my social welfare?

Is it possible to be taxed on this income and keep my benefits?

Technically, you are now self-employed and you must declare this to SW even if it is part-time.
