I have a water treatment system and also an under the sink filter system as well.
I get it maintained each year or every 2 years. the guy called last Friday and did the necessary which in fact was not a lot, he did change the Doulton Ceramic Filter under the sink and as I was a bit under the weather I did not pay too much attention but when he changed the filter he took the old one away and when I turned on tap pressure was awful.
He explained it has to charge itself so leave for 24 hours. I did and still no good, I found instructions from old filter and it said when pressure drops it is an indication that filter needs cleaning! I checked filter and it was very yellowy as if it needed cleaning. I rang Doulton in UK and they confirmed new filter should come in a sealed unit but to order one myself I had to deal with "simply water".
I rang them and left a message but no one got back to me. I then rang company who did the maintenance and they will call back with a new filter I hope.
Not very pleased and was wondering does anyone know where I can source this filter myself?
I will not get them to maintain system for a few years now. They charged €145.00. €70.00 for filter.
