Underfloor heating and solid timber flooring

Anybody have experience of using solid timber flooring with underfloor heating systems? General advice is to use semi solid floors but not all semi solids may be suitable , ie certain types of beech. Would welcome any advice or good websites to check out.

I use solid timber on top of an UFH system. Your question is not precise enough to be answered. Please check the "key posts", there is plenty of information to be got from.

Check the manufacturer or else the stockist of the timber flooring. They will be able to tell you if it's suitable for underfloor heating and also if it's best to glue it down or not.
