Uncashed Dividend Cheques

Following on her hospitalisation, I came across several uncashed dividend cheques in my mother's house ... they go back to 2005 and are from CRH; BOI and Diageo. My question is : do I return these to the individual companies for re-issue or what is the correct procedure?

Please forgive me if this question has already been posed ... I am a newbie.

Just return the cheques to the Co in question and they will either redate them they re issue the cheques. You should have no problem I had to do something similar in the case of my mother.
