Ulster Bank unwillingness to disclose limits for transfers

I rang UB today to enquire about the daily limit for transfers via internet banking. UB would not give me the information. All the would say was to attempt the transfer and see if it would be allowed.

What a load of nonsense. Why would such a limit not be allowed to be known to it's customers?
 
They really should know these things.

As I was doing business with another bank I needed to know what could be transferred in one go.
