ulster bank tracker. but for how long?

I wad on a 5 year fixed which came to an end recently.
I have automaticallly been switched to a tracker, which I am happy with, as my repayments have dropped.

But how long am I going to be on this tracker for?
I know its a loss maker for the banks, aand they want people to cone off them, but does anybody know if i will be on this indefinitely?
Or is it for a fixed period of time?

Its indefinitely. Unless you have something in the terms of your contract that gives a time frame.

considering the trouble most people are having with Ulster Bank I'm suprised they automatically put you back on tracker. Normally you have to ask them and they tell you to p1ss off.

do you mind me asking what rate you were on before hand. Was it a tracker?

It was a 5 year fixed at about 4.5% or so..
