Home Ulster bank refund on over calculation

Hi all,
I have ulster bank home insurance,and I just got a call to say they have identified that my payment was over calculated and I will receive a cheque in the post along with compensation.
Total is approx 400e.
Hope this is of some use to others who may be in a similar position.

I just got the same. I will be getting a cheque for €167, which includes €22 compensation (i.e. I was overcharged by €145). They said the problem was due to them miscalculating the annual premium. I'm not sure whether I should be happy, or peeved-off...

They told us that we are due nearly €1,500.

I'm not sure why it is so high as we only had our insurance with them for the first three years of our mortgage.
