Ulster Bank mobile app

Trying to access Ulster Bank mobile app and got the following

Ulster Bank RI needs an update. To use this app Download the latest version. (A link is included )

No notification from Ulster Bank of this update when I get into the app. No email or SMS either.
Is it ok to download the app as requested

If it's in the app you should be ok. I was asked to update it last night. If it's unsolicited I'd be more concerned. Might be no harm checking the app store to make sure - not that I did
