UK vehicle licensing office

If the UK vehicle licensing section writes to you informing you that another person has currently applied for change of ownership for your car and you have 14 days to reply and if they dont hear from you they will go ahead with the applicaation.

now, if you contact them after the 14 days and they have allowed the application to go through, where do you stand? obviously i would be objecting to the person trying to put the vehicle in their own name...
