UK VAT/ selling in Ireland

I am VAT registered in Ireland for a small consultancy company I have but I am now launching an internet site selling goods which are mainly coming from the UK. Do I have to pay the UK VAT and then add the extra here or how does it work??

You should not be charged VAT by the English company as they are selling to Ireland I import goods from England I am registered for VAT and am not charged Vat. If they send it to an address in Northern Ireland for me I have to pay VAT and that is where the trouble starts as it takes ages to claim back the VAT from British Revinue
