UK SIPP

Hi - I have a SIPP in the UK but am living and tax resident in Ireland for over 10 years. I am over 55. Can I take out a 25% tax free lump sum from the SIPP under Irish tax rules? I also have a DC pension with current employer in Ireland. I would prefer not to transfer to a QROP.

Thanks

Did you ever manage to find an answer to your question, I'm in a similar position and don't like the idea of paying 5% to transfer to an Irish pension wrapper with much higher fees.

I was able to withdraw from the SIPP - unfortunately though the SIPP I use (AJ Bell) used to allow non-residents to open an account but now must be resident (Brexit related I think).
