Is there any reason why UK probate would need to be entered into for an Irish resident (deceased). The individual owned personal property in the UK however at no stage was a resident there.
The UK property would be subject to UK law (and UK tax) so it would have to go through UK probate in order for it to be transferred to the beneficiaries of the will.
