UK pension - will they pay into a non UK bank account?

Just checking.

For the UK state pension will they pay the pension into a non-UK bank account or must it be paid into a UK bank account then transferred to my Irish bank account after receipt therein?

You can have it sent to a non-UK bank account - My UK pension is paid directly into my Irish account in euros. The exchange rate used is comparable to the market rate on the day
