UK interest rates on savings accounts

As UK interest rates are so high I assume savings and investments rates are also higher than the Irish banks. Is it possible to open a Euro savings or investment account with the UK banks rather than converting Euro to Sterling and losing out on exchange charges. Alternatively do the Irish banks with branches in the UK cater for this?

But if you open a Eur a/c in th UK, you get EUR rates not GBP rates or am I not understanding you properly??

Euro deposits in the UK will pay a rate of interest that approximates with the ECB rate NOT the BOE rate.

Vice versa for Irish banks offering GBP deposits.
