Hello, I've inherited over 100,000stg from my Aunt in the uk, probate was complex and the assets where held in a trust fund for all who inherited. Her property was sold after probate was granted and all Uk taxes then paid before distribution.

I'm in Ireland, so I've tax to pay on my inheritance.
My accountant has said that double taxation rule does not apply to my inheritance as it was in a trust that came from the Estate after taxes where paid.
Is this correct why would it not apply ? if anyone can advice

Thank you

Your first port of call has to be the executor of the estate. Who informed you of your inheritance and when? Write to them directly, do not engage any legal eagles at this stage.

There's a part in the will Reference to inheritance tax include Estate duty and capital transfer tax. They also include any other tax payable on inheritance or on death introduced after the date of this will. what does this mean ?
Your own phrasing of this seems convoluted and difficult to make sense of. Maybe you need to recheck and rephrase this?
