Can someone please let me know if I can keep my UK driving license while living in Ireland since the 1st of January 2021?And also if my Irish car insurance is affected by any new regulations related to having a UK driving license? Thanks

If you are living in IRL you need to exchange the UK one for an Irish one. See:https://www.rsa.ie/en/RSA/Brexit/ and see: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/living-in-ireland#driving-in-ireland As you have Irish car insurance and they presumably know you have a UK licence, you should have heard from them, (I did, with AVIVA, as one of my drivers has a UK licence).

If not, you need to get in touch with them immediately. Insurance is predicated on having a valid licence, they may have some wiggle room cover wise, but you cannot rely on this as it appears all UK licences were flagged to be changed for Irish ones long ago. This is important. You may not be covered, and you certainly aren't driving legally if you are resident, as it appears you are.
