UK Credit Report

Hey,
Just wondering if someone can advise. My husband and I have been approved a mortgage in principal but as my husband is Scottish we need to get a UK credit report. He has been living in Ireland permanently since 2005. The bank advised to go through Experian but it is a nightmare- phoned Irish branch but was told I need to use UK branch-but they dont take phonecalls if you dont have an account with them and I was wondering if anyone could advise of any other companies that we can get a UK credit report with? Also does anyone have any idea how long it takes to get one? I have been asking my husband to do this since November and our approval in principle runs out now in the middle of February and we have just found a house and would like to get the credit report asap.
If anyone could please advise it would be much appreciated.

I had to get one around about October.

I looked at both Experian and Equifax, and as far as I know I went with the latter.

My bank was happy with the £2 online report. This is about 20 pages long and you can get it printed off yourself. You have access to it for approx 1 month I think after you pay for it.

There are more expensive options but the £2 might be ok.

If you need any more information, get back to me and I'll see if I have any emails saved from them.
 
What did you put in for the postcode online? Did you use a UK address or your Irish one? Going to try Equifax online now-thanks for the reply

I am trying to get a credit report from my time in UK but like Laobhise having trouble getting it online. Can you let me know what postcode you used or how you got it online?
