UK credit card application while in Ireland?

I want to apply for a credit card in the UK but I am not resident so don't have a phone number or address/postcode, though I can use a friends address and number instead. Do you think I may be accepted if I use my friends address and phone number?

No - you are not resident and that is generally up there with being over 18 as a requirement for a credit card in the UK.
