My fiancé is moving here from the UK in the next few months and will need to open some bank accounts (savings, current) and we will also need to open a joint account.
At the moment the plan is that his job will move with him, but my understanding is that he won't have to take official 'tax' residence here for 185 days (and will prob be paid from the UK for the first few months).
Has anyone done this or know what procedure he will need to follow to open accounts?
We should be able to get utility bills in our joint names but I am thinking especially of the proof of PPS number etc which he won't have for a while.
