Anybody on here looked at the Barclays Bank 7.5% 3 year Fixed rate bond being advertised at the moment ? Its promoted as 100% Capital protected . Just curious if anyone thinks its worth investing ? Mininum investment €25,000

As previous posters say, this is probably a scam.

It's worth noting that Cantor Fitzgerald are offering something that sounds similar, called the "Barclays Bank Ireland PLC 3 Year 3.5% Fixed Rate Bond". It's one of the structured investments they're currently offering. However, the minimum investment sum is €100,000. See flyer, brochure and KID.

I suspect the "UBS Wealth Management" offering is a scam, using wording from the real product and using a web site that looks similar to the real UBS website. There were two similar recent examples in these forums of a Citi Bank scam and a Legal and General scam. I had a quick look at the UBS Asset Management site , but couldn't find any product like the one the OP mentioned (at least not in the Euro denominated funds for Ireland).
